I find our current sharpness system to be lacking, because weapons quickly get so sharp, that they do only-lasting damage. I prefere a sharpness system that USUALLY delivers some combination of stun AND lasting.

What I'de like to try is this sytem:
Sharpness +3 = 3/4ths of the damage is lasting. Specifically, the first 3 of every 4 points is lasting (the rest is stun.)
Sharpness +1 = 1/2 of the damage is lasting. Specifically, the first 1 of every 2 points is lasting (the rest is stun.)
Sharpness -5 = 5/6 of the damage is STUN. Specifically, the first 5 of every 6 damage is stun.
There simply be would be NO sharpness 0.
The PPV of this scale would be:
PPV ~ Sharpness
0.0 ~ -4 ("blunt" takes 5 damage to do one lasting)
0.5 ~ -3
1.0 ~ -2
1.5 ~ -1
2.0 ~ +1 (Maximum Natural Sharpness)
4.0 ~ +2 (Razor sharp)
8.0 ~ +3
