Flanking around the clock

We need to discuss, playtest, develop and doucument our flanking rules.

Right now it's based on a line going out straight infront of you (12 o'clock,) and an area 180 degrees behind you (between 3 and 9 o'clock.)  The rule is -0 to anything at 12 o'clock, -2 to anything between 3 and 9 o'clock, and -1 to everything else.

Should we further develop this, or is it already good?

I would prefer a more detailed system that says:

Between 11 and 1 o'clock, you have a minus Zero.

Everything else between 3 and 9 o'clock in front of you has a -1.

      Betweend 5 and 7 o'clock (directly opposite of 11 and and 1 o'clock)  has a -3, and everything else between 3 and 9 o'clock BEHIND you has a -2.
