Hello, I'm studying your H8 uClinux port as a possible way to make a battery and PV powered datalogger. I'm looking through the web sites http://www.uclinux.org/pub/uClinux/ports/h8/ and sourceforge mail list archive and the list seems quiet, so I'm sending to azpower also. Is the method of recompiling the distribution with app software written up somewhere in the source code download? That will matter a lot to me. The other thing that will matter is how to connect up an audio chip and get linux apps to use it... there will likely be a device driver part that does not exist in the right form to use... or will it just be a little configuration setup for the memory mapped peripherals expansion connector and making a pc board to connect the audio chip's data port to those wires? Are you all ready to help with such? What are your rates -- I have a contract likely starting in Feb if interested in a little paid work that also gets your board designed into a system that could get used by field biologists. Have you got a superH audio chip driver made up that can be used as a starting point? Should I just get a medallion board with audio built in and try that instead?
