#63 Corrupt graphics in webcam window

Since upgrading to 1.1.71 my webcam shows up as corrupt graphics. Mostly black with some random flickery pixels for top 50 or so rows.

Just build 1.2.2 and I get the same problem.

My webcam is reported correctly in the webcam broadcast screen as being a USB cam at usb camera 046d:08ad /dev/video0

This works fine in Cheese.

No error messages show up in the terminal I ran from.
