#50 Moving a friend between groups causes error

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 on an HP Pavillion system with the latest GYachE. When I attempt to move a friend, say "Name", from one group to another, I get an error. Specifically, if I right click on Name (which outlines it) and go down to "Move to Group", the appropriate dialog box pops up with a drop down list of existing groups. When a choose one and hit "OK", I get a pop up box that says, "Buddy already exists.: Name". Trying this from the command bar results in the same behavior.
