#26 characters incorrectly displayed on the gtk screen

After launcing the gyachi, when user whose encoding
(character set) is non-ASCII type words on screen (both
in chat room and pm). The characters (words) would not
display correctly. In addition, the console appears
warning as follow:

(gyachi:23645): Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string
passed to pango_layout_set_text()
