xterm update.

-x is now needed if one wants separate xterm windows for serial I/O when using configuration files with a single machine. And more debugmsg:ifying.

This is shown all the time during bootup of openbsd kernels when waiting for keyboard input. Nicer to quiet it.

READ and WRITE are more easily spotted.

Skip printing subsystem name when indentation is used. Also, when single-stepping, print (almost) everything regardless of verbosity level settings.
