Commit [r43] Maximize Restore History

Continuing on the GTKMM GUI (File->Open/Save/Save As show

file chooser dialogs, and Edit->Undo/Redo execute the "undo"
and "redo" commands). "File->New from Blank" and "Go/Continue"
also have bare-bones implementations.
