[Gwt-openlayers-users] Which version of openlayers project should I use?

hi List,

I am bout to do some more work using openlayers, which version of 
Openlayers should I actual use ?
2.8(Stable), 2.9 or the latest 2.8 version from source archive with all 
the latest bug fixes!

I am going to be doing some work with the google layers and code 
reprojection.
