Hi Aaron, Respectfully, I think creating another repo unilaterally is at best going to create confusion and at worst create issues for the team. For starters, I will assume that repo is not integrated with the SF authentication mechanism. Please lets not create a parrallel universe outside of the SF project. At the end of the day this VCS debate is not what the project is about. I for one would be happy with any VCS as long as it is hosted at sourceforge, integrated with SF identity management and is supported and backed up by SF. That choice presently is cvs, svn and git. As I said, SF willlikely have hg very soon. I am happy to wait for hg at SF and stay with CVS. I am also happy to move to git now. I am happy to move to svn if we do not plan to move again to hg or git. I am most unhappy moving out of SF. Just my 2 cents.
