Delfino at Apptio - 2011-12-21

I understand. When you do not specify an axis formatter, you get the auto-shorten behavior. But as soon as you specify a formatter, the auto-shortening is lost. I want to capture something like [euro-symbol] followed by [auto-shorten numeric], followed by the string "per-unit". I can format the literal parts, but the auto-shorten of the numeric value is lost as soon as I create my own formatter.
