#3 gnome 2 support

Is there any planned support for gnome 2?

I've tried to compile and prelim run into problems with
the following includes:

gnome.h
applet_widget.h

which look like (on the surface) translate to
gnome-desktop-item.h and panel-applet.h which I'm sure
is only the begining of a major rewrite.

Anyone working on any of this?
