Annoucing the release of PHPGnuCacheII Version 2.1.1. New features include a random selection of hosts and urls from a larger subset to prevent cache poisoning, and better security as well as increased performance.

PHPGnuCacheII is a PHP/MySql based GWebCache supporting the Gnutella/Gnutella2 Peer-to-Peer networks. GWebCaches are a volunteer based integral part of these networks.

I've just released the 2.0 version, so have at it.

This version incorporates several database changes to enhance performance and one new database. The database changes are optional and highly recommended. The new database is required for the stats page and must be populated using the populate.client.php script in the config directory.

New features include significantly enhanced database performance, and a completely rewritten stats page by Nicholas Venturella <nick2588[at]fastmail.fm>.
