Victory !! I cracked the problem with GvR on windows 98. It seems that the 'msvcrt.dll' crash has nothing todo with the msvcrt.dll. It's a unicode dll that's missing and leads to the crash, a dll which is not needed at runtime...... they said. That's the last time I believe information from win folks :-/ So, the new gvr version for windows 98 can be downloaded here: http://gvr.sf.net/gvr-win98_1.zip Make sure you remove the old version before you try this one. Instructions to run gvr: - Unpack the zip archive - Go to the directory it created - double click on 'gvr.exe' That's all. Let me know if it works so I can create a installer.
