Hi,
Is there any documentation available for setting up environment and building guse? (Particularly I'm interested to build dci-bridge)
Thanks!
Gr,
Mark
The question can be subdivided in two parts:
The basic general setup documentation ( -for example in case of version 3.5.2 - http://ignum.dl.sourceforge.net/project/guse/3.5.2/Documentation/gUSE_Install_Wizard_Manual_v3.5.2.pdf ) enumerates the needed programs must be available before the installation of the portal.
Submitter dependent setting information (how to set up the the back end of the portal in order to reach a particular (kind of) resource) is found in the following documentation:
http://freefr.dl.sourceforge.net/project/guse/3.5.2/Documentation/DCI_Bridge_Manual_v3.5.2.pdf
Hi Gabor,
Thanks for your reply.
However, the keywords were "developer documentation" and "build". I don't think that is covered in the documents you specified.
Are there document that do cover that?
Gr, Mark
If you want to add a new resource to an existing middleware handled by the DCI Bridge then the information referenced above is enough. If you want to extend the DCI Bridge by a new middleware i.e. you want to implement a new plug in, then consult with the following document: http://netcologne.dl.sourceforge.net/project/guse/3.5.2/Documentation/CreatingDCIBridgePlugin.pdf
