folks- the GUS project, the WDK and others are now using Subversion (SVN) instead of CVS as its source code repository. it is very useful to be able to integrate repository commands into emacs, so you can commit the file you have just changed or compare versions. CVS offers a menu that makes this very easy. SVN has an emacs plugin that is not quite as elegant, but, offers the important tasks. i have put out a wiki page describing how to use it. it is available at http://www.gusdb.org/wiki/index.php/SubversionInEmacs steve |
