There may be other uses of RNAFeature but the plugins I run use RNA feature for mRNA features either predicted from an assembly of transcript sequences or an mRNA sequence obtained from GenBank. Currently, RNAType and RNAFeature have quite different attributes and seem to be intended for different uses although it may be that they can be consolidated as they are both views of RNAFeature.
