[Gusdev-gusdev] Bioperl and GUS

Sorry for the short delay before the conference call.
Please find attached a review of the current status of the different 
projects within Bioperl and BioSQL.

What I am aiming with this review is to consider the benefits of having 
the GUS system interacting with Bioperl.
One way to consider is to implement the bioperl-db interfaces to make 
GUS as a datasource for the bioperl objects, as it is being done within 
the BioSQL project.

Bear in mind that this survey should be balanced with an equivalent in 
Java, considering GUS as a datasource for Biojava objects.
