Hi Michael, Thanks for your comments and taking a shot at this. I am working offline from the gus-dev list with help from Steve and others to get the UChicago GUS installation properly setup. Even with that and knowing there is work underway to make GUS use easier out of the gate, I decided to post this query because both messages occur during fresh installation of modules from PROJECT_HOME into GUS_HOME.
