Two lists of software have been added to the Dev/Prog FAQ in our wiki.

- the software that has been pre-loaded on the flash of all gumstix 
basix and connex platforms.

- which software can be added to the gumstix platform using the 
buildroot, such as gpsd which Craig mentions in this answer.
