You need to decide just what you're going to do with your gumstix. The basicx and connex both come with 4 Mb flash, of which there is about 1 - 1.5 Mb free (it was 1.5 Mb when I got mine, it might be a bit less now). If you go with the connex, you lose bluetooth and the MMC card, although you could add a compact flash card. The real advantage to adding compact flash though, is the ability to use a 802.11b WiFi card. The waysmall is nice in that you get two serial ports, USB, and 20 GPIO pads. If you're planning on doing audio stuff, then you might want to consider the audiostix instead of the waysmall. You can only use one of these at a time.
