I had to use the .32 PSP kernel to really get any of the video stuff working right, I have had no luck using the mainline omap3 kernel for gumstix. If you search the boards you will see that most end up having to go that route, though as is mentioned numerous times that kernel is only for testing so they say but seems to work fine so far for me. I love the gumstix but am honestly sadly disappointing in the whole OE project and the way things r done, I have in my opinion way to many files I have to to customize, tweak or rewrite existing recipes. I have recently switched to testing the andriod route but not liking that either and Ubuntu is ok for my needs so have mainly been focusing on builds relating to running Ubuntu, I am happiest right now with 9.04 running the .34 kernel tweaked for my use.
