Hi Paul Thanks for the response. The hub is not powered but the wifi dongle doesn't draw much current. It works on another system. There is a camera and an IMU in addition to the wifi dongle on the hub. However, even if I have only the dongle connected, it still throws out errors when I issue the ifup command. At boot-up it does throw out "Invalid RT chipset detected" errors... I have tried multiple Belkin USB-Wifi dongles but to no success. This script disables WiFi/BT, have not determined if it actually powers it off though, the WiFi chip remains hot. #!/bin/sh # disable wifi echo 0 > /sys/class/gpio/gpio16/value # disable bluetooth echo 0 > /sys/class/gpio/gpio164/value -- Paul Nolan, CEO Idruna Software Inc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing. http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ gumstix-users mailing list gum...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gumstix-users This message (and any attachments) contains Sarnoff proprietary information.
