Hi, I am wondering if anybody knows what the chip labeled "U6" next to the OMAP processor on top of the gumstix overo is? Mine has markings "2635 88B6" on top of it. I'd like to know this as I'm working on reducing the overo standby consumption, and I have noticed that when the OMAP processor chip is sleeping the OMAP chips is cold to the touch, but the U6 chip is lukewarm, so I'm wondering what it is doing and whether we can turn it off. On the same lines, I have noticed the TI power management chip tps65950 on the overo is warm during OMAP sleep, so I'll work on the driver for that chip to put it to sleep properly. Thanks, Blazej |
