[Gumstix-users] [ losetup ] with encryption (SOLVED)

Compile gumstix-kernel-2.6.21 (that is what my gumstix is using)
Go to gumstix-oe/tmp/deploy/glibc/images/gumstix-custom-verdex/ (I have 
verdex)
In file: modules-2.6.21-r1-gumstix-custom-verdex.tgz
you will find all modules

Move to your gumstix all modules you need for encryption, these are:
crypto/aes.ko <--- Encryption algorithm I use (you can upload some other)
crypto/cbc.ko <--- IMPORTANT FOR CRYPTOLOOP TO WORK!
drivers/block/cryptoloop.ko
drivers/block/loop.ko

Add this new modules to /lib/modules/2.6.21/modules.dep, if you want to add 
dependencies here remember that cryptoloop depends from loop and cbc.

Add a new file to your /etc/modutils/ named cryptosystem with content:
aes
cbc
loop
cryptoloop

Execute the command: update-modules

Reboot and after statup you should be able to mount your partition with:
loop -e aes /dev/loop0 /dev/....
or from a file:
loop -e aes /dev/loop0 file.dat
