For me it is more of an annoyance as I don't tend to update my rootfs very often. . http://www.nabble.com/Uboot-hangs-on-second-use-of-tftp-command-to15490014.html#a15490991 Mark Michael Tellers wrote: > i'm facing the same problem with verdex (i'm new at gumstix). > Just trying to get a kernel with filesystem on ramdisk to work. > Both images are located on a tftp-server. > But after fetching an image no more network-operations work (also ping > hangs). > Is this a known issue? > Is there a workaround? > thx > > > > Steve Sakoman wrote: > >> I haven't yet ported the gumstix u-boot patches to OE. >> >> Unfortunately this means that you will need to use buildroot if you >> want to build a custom version of u-boot. >> >> Steve >> >> On Wed, Apr 2, 2008 at 1:25 PM, ptkdb <and...@ya...> wrote: >> >>> The pre-built u-boot( http://gumstix.net/feeds/u-boot/ u-boot ) for >>> verdex-600 hangs after one tftp operation.
