Hi rob321, > What revisions do people think are stable? I guess it depends on what you daughtercards you use. Personally, I think that the latest release is stable with some caveats: 1 - bluetooth support doesn't work out of the box. Some people have reported success taking stuff from 1161 and copying it into a recent buildroot. 2 - net-wifi-microsd support doesn't work out of the box, but there are some patches: <http://docswiki.gumstix.com/Net-wifi-microusd> 3 - The robostix and roboaudiostix have some issues with the default configuration for verdex (now that LCD support is enabled). This is addressed here: <http://docswiki.gumstix.com/Robostix_verdex> That's all that I'm aware of. > Who should be the person(s) who signs off on the stability? Right now Craig does. The stable releases exist on sourceforge. The last stable release for basix/connex is 1161. There hasn't been a stable release for verdex. > Should we put it to a vote or will some poor sole run some automated unit > tests? Generally speaking if all of the boards work properly, then it's a stable release. -- Dave Hylands Vancouver, BC, Canada http://www.DaveHylands.com/ |
