Weird...no, didn't have to fool with anything like that. Just did the buildroot with Python, booted up for the first time, and installed PySerial. No trouble. It needed : python-stringold python-fcntl python-terminal from ipkg's before py-serial worked. I think the above is the same error message I got on th ipaq.
