Hi Greg ... It should be possible to connect, stablising a PAN network via bluetooth, then using ssh. There are many tutorials on the site. But, I was not able to do it. However, I stablished serial console using rfcomm. I used the kermit on Linux. I had the kermit configured for the tweener, so I used the same file, and changed the /dev/ttyS0 (my serial port on the Linux Box), for the /dev/rfcomm0, wich was the serial port emulated by the bluetooth . I didn´t change anything on the gumstix, but I did modified the rfcomm.conf file on the Linux Box . That file is on /etc/bluetooth.The modification I made , was to put the MAC o the bluetooth on the gumstix. (Wich I obtained by hcitool scan). That way, the Linux box stablish the connection automatycally when the gumstix is connected, and I all have to do is run kermit.I had worked for a long time, without any problems. However, once I tried to paste some text, and then the connection died, and I had to restart the gumstix manually. I dont have the rfcomm.conf file here, but it was something like this rfcomm 0{ auto (wich was commented, and I un-commented ) MAC of the gumstix (Wich was something like 00-00-00-00-that, and I put my gumstix MAC) (other stuff) } I hope this might help Greeting from Chile ...
