The .hex file should be ASCII and should look something like this: # head -4 i2c-Boot-m128-16MHz.hex :020000021000EC :10F000000C9444F807B004F8030028F9CDFA56F937 :10F0100000000000000000000000000000000000F0 :10F02000000000000C9444F80C9444F80C9444F84C Which version of kernel are you using? Did you build uisp yourself or are you using a precompiled version?
