I managed to garf up my original buildroot enough that I just pulled down a fresh copy into a new directory. I applied the target changes and busybox mods I prefer and built it without incident. I'm keeping my tcl and expect binaries on my MMC. I put sym links in my buildroot root/bin and root/lib pointing to my MMC to keep from relinking everything after moving a new root_fs_arm_nofpu over. Also, I tweaked fstab to auto mount my MMC. With the latest download, three things seem to have cropped up: 1) MMC won't automount. After I login and "ls /mnt/mmc" yields nothing. After a "mount -a", poof it's there. Here's my fstab: # <file system> <mount pt> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> /dev/mtdblock2 / jffs2 rw,noatime 0 1 proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0 devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0 tmpfs /tmp tmpfs mode=1777 0 0 /dev/mmc/mmc0/part1 /mnt/mmc vfat defaults 0 0 2) boa dies. I see the "httpd starting" (not verbatim) at boot up, but after I couldn't http to it I discovered the process had died. I haven't touched boa at all, but had planned to use it for a gui soon... 3) Expect, which had been running reasonably well (I need to look at that source some day, though) has started seg faulting on scripts that ran before against the same binaries. And thanks to C. Hughes for suggesting socat vs. telnet. Big improvement. So.... Coincidence? Separate issues? What additional info should I post? Thanks, Laker __________________________________ Yahoo!
