Hi, I just received my first gumstix. It's an awesome little device. I managed to buildroot almost immediately (I stumbled over the /sbin/depmod problem mentioned in an earlier thread, but got it fixed). Flashing the new image through RS232 worked like a charm. Also, I don't know if this is a bug or not: My 1GB SD-card works fine with the MMC reader, although some earlier post said there is no SD support in the kernel. It doesn't get recognized at boot time, but I can mount/read/write it perfectly fine. After all this glorification now my questions: I got an older version of the gumstix w/o bluetooth (BRD002). Can I just purchase the CF adapter, plug into the 60-pin header and get CF/Wifi working? Is there a list of wireless CF cards that are known to work or can I use any model? thanks, Jan. |
