Hello, =20 I am trying to communicate with the Wacom tablet using their eval board. I am trying to use ttyS2 to communicate with the wacom tablet but after setting up the port using : =20 echo "AF2 in" > /proc/gpio/GPIO46 echo "AF1 out" > /proc/gpio/GPIO47 =20 stty -ixon clocal cs8 -parenb -cstopb -crtscts -echo -F /dev/ttyS2 stty -F /dev/ttyS2 speed 19200 =20 Then I use: =20 =20 echo "1" > /dev/ttyS2 cat /dev/ttyS2 =20 I get nothing from the tablet.=20 =20 Does anybody have any ideas about how to get this port working correctly with the wacom tablet? =20 =20 Thanks, Nicole |

You can also try compiling the sertest program: <http://websvn.gumstix.com/filedetails.php?repname=Buildroot&path=%2Fbranches%2Fprojects%2Frobostix%2Fgumstix%2Fsertest.c&rev=0&sc=0> You need to compile it with -lpthread and it takes anything you type and sends to the designated serial port and prints out whatever it receives. -- Dave Hylands Vancouver, BC, Canada http://www.DaveHylands.com/ |

As was noted to me, building it was fairly easy, and is probably a good way to debug any text-oriented serial link. |
