I'm having an issue cross compiling screen with arm-linux. During the
configure stage, I have tried using the --host=arm-linux,--target=arm-linux, and
build=arm-linux directives and no luck. I have tried manually editing the
Makefile with marginal success. A good deal of the program compiles but halts
on pty.c, complaining about a lack of sys/stropts.h. I have tried copying the
header from my systems include directory with no success. Is there anything I
have forgotten or something else I could do?
My dev machine is running XP with Ubuntu 7.0.4 installed on vmware. What I
would like to do is be able to launch my application from putty then be able to
close the connection without killing the app. I figured screen would be perfect
for this. I'm not set on using screen, if there is a better/more available
alternative, I would use it without hesitation.
