as I already wrote some days ago, I am currently trying to improve the
flash read performance on a verdex XM, which is very poor, at least for
me, at the moment.
Currently, the flash is programmed to work in asynchronous mode, the
standard operation mode. As the flash timing configuration is quite
conservative, I tuned this a bit (still don't know if it's best) and got
a fairly improvement of around 25-30% read speed.
However, I am wondering if it is possible to run the flash in
To do so, it's neccessary to provide a CLK signal. I coudn't figure out
if the verdex XM board is prepared for that, i.e. SDCLK0 is connected to
Is there anybody out there who played with this screws before?
Also SDRAM fine-tuning might be of interest.
Thanks in advance.
