Well it's already been a day or two later and still no progress. I've tried
almost everything I could.
I think that leads me to the conclusion that the gumstix/tweener is broke.
I've been messing around with this for a couple of weeks and I really need
this for a project. Is there someone who could help me see if there is
really a broke gumstix or tweener board?
Atm I have: Gumstix / tweener / wifistix powered by 3 X 1,5V batteries onto
the wifistix board. All lights go on like it should. Then I got my tweener
connected with my computer through serial null model cable > USB-> Serial
cable > Computer. That should work like a normal serial port. I've tested it
on other computers too. Maybe I'm just missed something stupid, and yes all
the settings are like they should be.
If you can't give me any tips how to solve this, please give me a way to
make sure if a board is really broke or not.
Thank you in advance.

Well, if you've tried 115k baud, N81 with all flow control disabled,
and nothing works, then either the gumstix or tweener is probably bad.
I'm assuming you've tried just the gumstix and tweener.

There isn't really any way of telling with what you've got. Each board
has a power LED, and when you plug in the power LED it turns on. Which
really only indicates that power is present, and nothing else.
So I'd be inclined to send the tweener/gumstix back and get which ever
one is broken replaced.
