I'm in the process of designing a pcb board and wanted to make around 10 of
them. Without having to do self assembly, does anybody have recommendations
on how to do self assembly in house that's cost effective? I was thinking
about soldering one board by hand and then pushing it into a clay bar or
something to make the indents. Afterwards, I would put the pieces onto the
clay and just drop the PCB board onto the clay and have the components stick
to the PCB board (after I put solderpaste on the leads).
The other option is to have a plant do it, but for 10-20 boards, that's not
really a good option. What do you guys think? Thanks!
