I use netcf-vx, Verdex and consoleLCD-vx. Just above the bluetooth
antenna receptable on the Verdex, there's a 3.5mm hole in the netcf-vx
that I always thought was intented for the bluetooth cable, but after
(finally!) unpacking and inspecting the bluetooth antenna more carefully,
I notice that the cable's connector is right angled, i.e. cable must pass
between Verdex and netcf-vx board instead of through 3.5mm hole as I hoped
The gumstix site says that the antenna is a dipole, but the connector's
case is grounded, so I guess it's OK that the connector case rests
directly on the netcf-vx's ground plane (bottom side,) so it scraping off
the solder resist and touching the ground plane wouldn't matter, I
Was this by design, or just trouble finding a supplier for a straight
u.fl. cable connector?
