Hi, I recently purchased a basix 400mx-bt and I am having some connection p=
roblems. When I tried to configure a PAN, the instruction on http://docwik=
i.gumstix.org/Networking told me to /etc/init.d/S30bluetooth stop /etc/init=
.d/S30bluetooth start however, I don't think my bluetooth connection ever r=
estarted. I have incoming ports but no outgoing ports. Is there a reset b=
utton on gumstix so I can get back my bluetooth connection? Can you please=
give me some detailed instructions on how to set up a PAN. I also tried se=
tting up USBnet for windows as per your documentation on http://docwiki.gum=
stix.org/Windows_XP_usbnet but my computer cannot find the ip address so ti=
mes out. Can you tell me what are some of the possible causes of this? And=
how I my fix it? I am currently getting limited connectivity at 9.7 Mbps.=
With the hyperterm, I was able, before my bluetooth connection stopped, t=
o send files to bluetooth. If I setup the bluetooth to receive, how can I =
send files from the gumstix itself? Thanks, Yin=

Have you tried setting manually an address IP ? The gumstix isn't by default
a DHCP server...
You could also run a DHCP server on your HOST machine.
If you set up a manual IP address, make sure the /etc/network/interfaces
file is configured correctly on the gumstix to work with a manual address
(see the page 'tutorial' on the wiki).
