Hi, ADB seems to be working for me on a Gallop43 board. Hi Ash / all, This is the updated overo_android_defconig and it still does not work. It does not seem as if any "gadgets" are actually being initialized. Does anyone have a working uImage with ADB they could send me or a working overo_android_defconfig. Hi Kevin, I reviewed the defconfig and noticed that android otg mode was not selected. Could you try with the attached defconfig? My board-overo.c file has also been included to pick up any changes related to the pushbuttons not functioning. Hi Kevin, Two notes I forgot: - in your boot.log: your defaultdisplay was set to 'dv1'. Typical values are usually 'dvi' , 'lcd43', and 'lcd35'. - Hedwin on the rowboat list suggested grounding the OTG pin. Hi Ash, When I enable USB_MUSB_OTG, I do get a warning that USB_MUSB_OTG changes state. I have USB_MUSB_HOST enabled as I need to be able to plug in say USB ethernet and USB serial adapters into the board. Also I don't know if you saw the other email about the Host A port not working on the Chestnut43 board. The kernel does not output any messages when devices are attached to this port. I know the port is powered as the USB hub I try to plug into it illuminates. Is there a way to get both HOST and OTG functionality working? Hi Kevin, On a chestnut43 board, I use the host port connected to a hub with whatever peripherals I want attached (keyboard, mouse etc.). I use the USB otg port to connect to ADB. I think this is the behaviour you are looking for? Hi Ash, Thanks for the prompt replies, makes this much easier. Yes this is the type of functionality I am looking for. The board should be able to connect to the computer via the OTG port, and act as a host when connected to the HOST port. But I could never get ADB working on the Palo35 and just gave up, connected a USB ethernet adapter to the HOST port and connected to ADB over TCP/IP. I've not tried with the kernel you have sent because I do need to customize things for the product the Gumstix boards will be integrated into. I will try it and let you know, then we can see which changes were made to a rowboat-android version and the one you have sent me. I do not know why does not work, me and other members of the mailing list were trying to figure it out but we wern't successful as the changes made from the rowboat-android repo were the same. I will try your kernel and get back to you within the hour. No I do not have an analyzer to put on the port... This is quite bad, the board has 3 USB ports. 1. Is for console and it works 2. Is for USB OTG. I am able to plugin a mini-A to mini-B connector to a hub and rarely it will connect. 3. Is for USB HOST. But it does nothing. This is the Chestnut 43 board from gumstix.
