I'm trying to build the TI-GStreamer application and when i do a "make all install" i get the following error about 10 minutes into the compile checking zlib.h usability... no checking zlib.h presence... no checking for zlib.h... no configure: error: zlib.h was not found *** You must first install zlib (libz) before you can build this package. *** If zlib is already installed, you may need to use the CPPFLAGS *** environment variable to specify its installed location, e.g. -I<dir>. I've installed the latest version of ZLib and the include files are located in the same target directory that is in the Makefile.common file Any ideas where I should be locating the ZLib files, or do I have to patch it for the ARM? Thanks |

Did you try like its saying to specify the location of it ?? Since you installed a version yourself? That generally fixes those things for me Or try install the zlib from OE and maybe it will find it on its own. But I have run into a bunch of similar issues where it cant find files installed while being built from OE > > I've installed the latest version of ZLib and the include files are located > in the same target directory that is in the Makefile.common file > > Any ideas where I should be locating the ZLib files, or do I have to patch > it for the ARM? > > Thanks > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Increase Visibility of Your 3D Game App & Earn a Chance To Win $500! > Tap into the largest installed PC base & get more eyes on your game by > optimizing for Intel(R) Graphics Technology.
