I did some digging around, but couldn't see if this had been covered
Is there any mechanism that could be used to shut the Gumstix down as a
result of a power failure?
The device I'm building uses a 200Mhz XM - it does periodic writes to the
file system (not '/tmp') while running, and I didn't really like the idea
of it having to fsck when it comes up...
Does anyone know if a 'typical' fsck on an 200Mhz XM is anything like the
huge amount of time some people have reported for the 'first boot' after
flashing a new root filesystem [while j2ffs is sorting it's stuff out]?
