I just received two more ns200xm-cf's. When booting them, the network
link light comes on approx 25 seconds after applying power then it goes
out after 3-5 seconds. During that interval I see the DHCP Discover,
the DHCP offer (from the server), the DHCP request (from the
ns200xm-cf), and the DHCP ACK (from the server). After that, it appears
the ns200xm-cf is disabling the ethernet interface. Once the link light
goes out, I am unable to communicate with the device. My existing
ns200xm-cf's take approx 75 seconds to establish a link light and do not
exhibit this problem.
There are a few posts that discuss how the existence of "auto wlan0" in
the /etc/network/interfaces for non-existent wireless interfaces may
cause the ethernet interface to be disabled (although not a problem on
my original units). Has anyone confirmed that?
Any other suggestions?
