I got po'd at our hosting provider when they lost power during that
outage that hit Los Angeles a week or two back, so we're ditching
them. As a happy side benefit, the new server is much beefier than
the old shared one, so the site should be much faster, particularly
the wiki stuff. Anyway, we'll be migrating to the new system over
the next day or two or three, so you might see some hiccups in
service during that time. The new server has a lot more flexibility
and capacity too, so I'll probably also be moving all the various
bits I've had on rungie.com until now over to there also -- like
subversion, etc. More details on that when the time comes.
Anyway, if you're having really bad problems, and you think the
problem is due to some mis-migration issue, please let me know -- if
the problem is email related, cc craig@... as well, in
case mail delivery via gumstix.com is messed up.
I've already migrated gumstix.org, and it sure is a lot faster. I've
not yet had a page take longer than 1 second to load, where it could
often take 30 seconds or more for forum pages on the old server.
