it fails to download from http://download.berlios.de/tslib/tslib-1.0.tar.bz2 I tried it in my browser and I could not connect to it either. Also, I had the same problem with http://matt.ucc.asn.au/dropbear/releases/dropbear-0.47.tar.gz both were unreachable. Does anyone know where I can download these packages? Thanks Ardy !DSPAM:4b49675415595028314777! |

I have not, I was hesitant because the downloading of these packages was automatically happening as part of the OE build process. Has anyone released a patch for OE build scripts which address this issue? alxx wrote: >> it fails to download from >> http://download.berlios.de/tslib/tslib-1.0.tar.bz2 >> >> I tried it in my browser and I could not connect to it either. >> >> Also, I had the same problem with >> http://matt.ucc.asn.au/dropbear/releases/dropbear-0.47.tar.gz >> >> both were unreachable. Since OE is reaching out into the internet and downloading hundreds of tarballs (I have 241 in my cache), there is a chance that a particular tarball may not be available from time to time. And sometimes, the maintainer of the the particular tarball will reorganize, etc. In these situations, OE will eventually get fixed and know about the new location, but to cover yourself for these situations, you can download the tarball from an alternate location and put in the sources directory yourself. So, I put a copy of tslib (from my sources directory) into http://www.davehylands.com/gumstix-wiki/sources I didn't have the dropbear tarball, so I found it from an alternate location, and ran md5sum to create the md5 file. -- Dave Hylands Shuswap, BC, Canada http://www.DaveHylands.com/ |

I think http://download.berlios.de/ is having problems of some kind...I tried downloading bitbake 1.8.18 and can't get a connection. However I think I can just copy my existing overo-oe/bitbake directory into another directory and use it for a different Angstrom build (for Beagleboard.)
