Hello, One of the first things I do when designing a product based on a processor module is document the connector interfaces. The following link contains a spreadsheet for my first pass through the Overo I/O. https://dev.bec-systems.com/redmine/bec/wiki/omap3 Questions for Gumstix: 1) verify SYSEN is connected to SYSEN on PMIC 2) verify POWERON is connected to PWRON on PMIC 3) what are the USYSTEM signals 4) What is the specification for VSYSTEM? Is this the 3.3-4.2V supply? 5) What is N_MANUAL_RESET connected to? 6) do you see any other errors in this spreadsheet (some of this based on my assumptions). Thanks! Don, Thanks for the information. A few more questions: 1) J5 -- verify this is 1.8V power supplied by the overo module for use on camera module. 2) J5 -- verify VSYSTEM is power from baseboard routed through overo for use on camera module. 3) J1 What is the VBACKUP signal? 4) USBOTG_VBUS and USBH_VBUS -- is this power in or out of the overo? How is the USB power routed? From the summit schemos, it seems that USBH_VBUS is provided by the baseboard, but USBOTG_VBUS is provided by the overo? 5) Do both the USBOTG and USBH interfaces support high speed USB (480MBs)? I have updated the Overo I/O spreadsheet: https://dev.bec-systems.com/redmine/bec/documents/show/1 Next batch of questions: 1) What pins on the PMIC are VSYSTEM connected to? I'm trying to get a better idea of the possibilities -- for example, can we use the battery charger in the PMIC to charge a battery connected to VSYSTEM? Perhaps we can use the USBH_VBUS as a charger input, but then there are issues to work out such as how do we detect USB power, vs 5V AC adapter for fast charging, etc. 2) docs mention all I/O is 1.8V. Does this include things like MMC/SD? If not, can you define what I/O are not 1.8V. The charger isn't connected because the Overo has no battery by default. 1. Yes, you can use twl4030_madc module to read the ADC inputs. 2. I don't quite understand your question. If you asked if the Overo includes a speaker, no it doesn't. I have successfully used two headphones and amplified speakers with it.
