Hello everyone, I currently have to work on a gumstix to implement on it some image processing stuff, but I have to profile my code first to see if the computing power of the gumstix will be enough. So I wanted to use qemu, which seems to be able to emulate a gumstix. I followed this excellent rob231 topic to install qemu : http://www.nabble.com/qemu-td13373654.html#a13373654 It works. I am done (with some troubles) installing the bitbake environnement and so on, so I am now able to make a hello world .ipk, for instance. It seems that I have now to send it to the gumstix, with some possibilities : memory card, serial port ... but I don't see how to do it with an emulator ! I've read some report of people having trouble using qemu with openembedded stuff, is that right ? Does someone have an idea on how I would be able to send my own applications to gumstix emulated in qemu ? Any help would be really appreciated, Thanks in advance ! Kind regards, Bruno |

I've started to put some information on using qemu on the user's wiki: <http://gumstix.net/wiki/index.php?title=Category:How_to_-_qemu> -- Matthieu Herrb |
