So, I'm probably over my head in all of this, but I like to jump in and
just try things.
I ordered a verdex XM4-bt and console-vx. Couldn't get my usb wifi
dongle to work and started messing with buildroot.
First thing I noticed was what was on my board - apparently release 1410
- and what buildroot showed as release 1410 seemed different. The kernel
modules (and kernel) on the verdex were different than what buildroot
and subversion provided as 1410. There's a post for this question, but
Anyway, after chasing my tail, I eventually built and transfered release
1515. To my surprise, bluetooth is not working. Something about the
bluez.org changes from version 2.x to 3.x and the interface through
dbus. When might this start working - dbus and bluetooth? What is a
stable release to go back to?
Finally, how can I pitch in? What drives development changes and priorities?
