Intel has a reference design for an media player based on the PXA255 which uses a UCB1400 A/D to monitor battery level: http://www.eetchina.com/ARTICLES/2005NOV/PDF/ Intel_PXA255_Processor_based_Portable.PDF At the end of the doc it says "Please contact Intel for schematics". If you don't get anything else from the list, lmk and I'll see if Gordon can get the schematics for reference. C |

Can some one explain this to me? I thought that the ADC will compare the input to the REF Voltage. So if you are using a battery the REF will go down as the battery charge drops.
