Has anyone done anything with scratchbox yet?
I'm interested in porting an application that ~really~ needs to run
autoconfig so I'm thinking hard about doing the work to build the
scratch box environment for gumstix. But before starting, I'd like to
know if anyone else has done any work with it. I first ran across it
when I was looking at the maemo.org development envrionment for the
Nokia 770 (both, _really_ cool).
Thanks in advance for input.

Does anyone use it with a gumstix?
If so,what toolchains work best with a gum?
If not - what's wrong with it (there was a conspicuous lack of
google hits for scratchbox and gumstix)?
It seems an awful lot easier than coaxing GNU configure to play
nice with a cross-compiler.

I'll second this. My bluetooth alsa stuff won't compile in the buildroot
due to some new wackiness in cross-compiling and autoconf--it looks for
a library in /usr/lib ahead of the buildroot path. libtool is a train
wreck and I gave up finding the problem there.
I started working on bluetooth audio for maemo and everything built
quite easily in scratchbox...
